How the East Valley differs from the rest of the Valley
Most East Valley homes were built from the 1970s onward on concrete slabs, with copper or PEX supply lines under or inside the slab. Older neighborhoods in Mesa, Tempe and south Scottsdale add galvanized pipe, evaporative coolers and aging roofs. Newer communities in Gilbert, Queen Creek and San Tan Valley have younger plumbing but are now reaching the age when water heaters and supply lines start to fail.
That mix shapes the jobs we do. Slab leak water damage and AC condensate leaks are year-round calls. Monsoon storms add roof leaks and flooding between June and September.
